Stand Firm in the Faith

Youth for Christ

CFC Youth for Christ (YFC) aims to provide a Christian support environment for young teenagers between 13 to 21 years of age.

The program is oriented towards meeting the needs of our young people to belong, to be motivated, to be useful, to be good examples, and to be Christian witnesses. It has put a premium on four characteristics: fun, friendship, faith, and free; but responsible expression.

YFC’s future is directed towards giving the youth a worthwhile cause to support as we seek to address, in our small way, the plight of the poor and the less privileged and the social and environmental issues that trample on the youth’s human dignity: abortion, drugs, fraternity violence, sexual immorality, corruption, and even the rape of our natural resources.

Entry point to the CFC Youth for Christ program is through a Youth camp. Pastoral formation is being given to the youth after the camp through household meetings, assemblies, teachings and trainings, international conferences, youth forums, and other interesting and dynamic activities dedicated to the holistic development of the youth.

YFC in Singapore

CFC-Youth For Christ Singapore (CFC-YFC SG), the youth ministry of the Couples For Christ community, has been experiencing bountiful blessings over the years.Through the grace of the Lord, there are currently 410 active YFC members in Singapore; all of whom are part of the only YFC program currently in Singapore – YFC Community Based.

There are 4 Chapters based mainly on the housing districts of Singapore: East, North, Serangoon & West – with each chapter having about 80 – 130 members. Because there have been a bountiful number of members and leaders alike, YFC Singapore has adopted a temporary structure of ‘units’ to cater to this. These ‘units’ serve only the pastoral function of being a Household of Household Heads.
And as such, in each chapter, there are 4 ‘units’, in each ‘unit’ there are about 3 – 7 ‘households’ and in each ‘household, there are about 5 – 10 members. ~ By Feydric Benoza
